Welcome!
I'm Jade Medeiros, a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Middletown, Rhode Island. I specialize in orthopedic and pediatric physical therapy. When treating orthopedics, I specialize in various manual therapy techniques, including functional dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, deep and soft tissue mobilizations, joint mobilizations, and myofascial release. When treating pediatrics, I specialize in achieving developmental milestones, torticollis, body tension, tongue tie, flat head, and tummy time struggles.
After earning my Doctorate degree at Quinnipiac University, I gained more than a decade of experience in outpatient orthopedics and pediatrics. These specialties have developed my dedication to both exceptional patient care and whole-body wellness for all ages.
At the heart of my practice is a patient-centered focus, where individual and family needs take precedence. I strive to provide each patient with a personalized journey toward recovery and a lifetime of knowledge to help you achieve your optimal performance and live well. I believe that wellness starts at birth and that starting with symmetrical and optimal movement patterns sets babies up for successful development.
As a mother to a 5-month-old and a 2-year-old, I bring a personal understanding of parenting challenges and navigating the healthcare world. I believe physical therapy care should be timely and accessible to families. Understanding the developmental sequence can be anxiety-inducing for parents. I’m here to ease the parental anxiety of the unknown and assess each child’s unique development in order to facilitate your baby’s movements and optimize function.
As a native of Rhode Island, I am happiest when staying active outdoors with my family. I’m most often found doing yoga, running, or beach days with my family. I love embracing the beauty of my home state.
